Next Generation Ireland is dedicated to providing top quality instruction in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). We accept all levels of students from beginners to advanced and aim to provide an environment for continued self improvement. We will help you to achieve individual goals ranging from learning new skills, to getting fit to competing as an amateur or professional. Our programmes are designed to take you wherever you want to go within the sports of BJJ and MMA.

New Beginners Course Tomorrow Night.

The next New Beginners Course in BJJ starts tomorrow evening at 6pm. It is full so if you havent registered by email or phone please dont just show up. Please be at venue by 5.45pm to register. The course is 5 weeks consisting of 10 classes and costs 60 euro. This will also include training for the month of March for free.

Chris Brennan Seminar DVDs Back in stock.

The 3 DVD set of Chris’s last 3 seminars is back in stock after we ran out before Xmas. This is an ideal reference for current students or a good introduction for beginners to the particular brand of NOGI BJJ that Chris teaches. Informed Performance Competition this Saturday. If you are free you should compete. NO classes as a result this Saturday. Wrestling class as part of the course will take place this Friday at 8.30pm instead of Saturday.  Andy Thompson will be fighting on Cage Contender on February 5th in Carrickfergus. A small number of tickets are available from Andy.

Freestyle Wrestling Course

 Starting Wed 13th January running every Monday and Wed from 6-7pm and Saturdays from 12 -1.30pm until the 3rd of February. (1o classes in all) Two places left 60 euro for the course. Contact me for registration, do not just show up.

Monday 8th February

Our next Beginners BJJ course will begin on Monday 8th February at 6pm, running every Monday and Wednesday from 6pm – 7pm for 5 weeks. 10 classes in all, plus a free month of training afterward. 60 euro. Happy Christmas to all Next Generation, thanks for all your hard training over the year and competing and representing the club so well. Club will re-open on January 4th at 6pm for beginners course and 7pm for regular class members. There will be an increase in rates from the New Year but I hope on visiting the club you can see where the money has been spent.

Congratulations to Darragh O Conaill who won the inaugral Christmas tournament at the club last night, with Chris Leddy runner up and Andy Thompson in third.

Next Generation are meeting bottom car park St Andrews College on Saturday at 9am, so if you need a lift make sure you are there.

Both fighters acquitted themselves very well, Andy coming out the wrong side of a tight decision and Neil dominating his opponent for the entire 1st round before his opponent was disqualified for an accidental elbow.
